When Joanna is not at ABC, you can find her (trying to enjoy) running. She’s very into cheesecake and has watched the Gossip Girl series 5 times.
Introducing Katlyn Maxwell, Clinical Manager at ABC!
Katlyn Maxwell is the Clinical Manager at Advanced Behavioral Consulting. She has a caseload of clients, trains all new BTs/RBTs, supervises and supports all staff, completes intake for new clients, as well as much more! She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Auburn University. In high school, Katlyn discovered her love for teaching children with autism using the principles of behavior analysis while working in the home as a behavior technician. She absolutely loves when ABC's clients learn to engage in replacement behaviors instead of those that cause harm to themselves or others. Her newest passion is teaching and training staff on how to best work with ABC's clients and sharing her love of ABA with them. Katlyn loves when an ABC staff member is so excited to share about the clients' progress! When she's not working, Katlyn is either hanging out with her dog Lucy, catching up on her favorite tv shows, or spending time with friends and family.
